I liked "Cache" somewhat. Haneke is definitely an interesting filmmaker, but like Lars Von Trier, he's not for everyone. I actually like Von Trier better than Haneke. Have you seen any of his films? "Breaking the Waves" is the best.

The acting in "Funny Games" was very good though.Sarah Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05791493920946066930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455799919149349621.post-35447667920631694872014-01-20T13:25:32.503-08:002014-01-20T13:25:32.503-08:00Awesome review, Sarah -- beautifully written. I agree with what you said about Erika's character, and I also agree with Vern that she seemed to be using what she'd learned from her mother on Anna and Walter. My favorite of Haneke's work, from what I've seen so far, is Code Unknown.momof3feistykidshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15622239947336967007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4455799919149349621.post-53812176686295440432014-01-20T05:26:27.846-08:002014-01-20T05:26:27.846-08:00You're right Sarah Erika was a difficult perso...You're right Sarah Erika was a difficult person to like. It seems like she was taking what she learned from her mother and was using it on the new student. Not my favorite of Heneke's work(That would go to "Funny Games") but certainly way better then "Amour". Great review.TheVernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00712756384665520547noreply@blogger.com
